Based out of our offices in Carmel, Indiana and Palo Alto, California, our team is focused on continually improving our knowledge, technology, processes and service to optimize the print buying experience - and help you find the best values in printing.

We periodically visit printers for a first-hand review of their printing equipment and processes. We also maintain relationships with paper merchants and track paper prices to identify cost saving opportunities (and we pass on those savings to you!)

David Jacobs

David Jacobs, President

David Jacobs has been President of Richard Jacobs and Company since 2006. Prior to that he spent the past 10 years working for high technology companies such as Siebel Systems, Oracle Corporation and SUSE Linux. David’s interest is in utilizing information technology to solve complex business problems and enable unique capabilities. He continues to pursue this interest to transform a mature family business.

David received a BA in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in finance from NYU.

Andi Walker

Andi has been with Richard Jacobs and Company since 1982 and has helped hundreds of clients navigate the commercial printing market.

When she isn't negotiating with the printers, she is cheering her Indianapolis Colts on to Victory or putting in her 30 miles a week running.

Karen Grunwald

Karen has been with the firm since 1997. She focuses her efforts on hard to produce sheetfed jobs and coordinating the delivery where parts of a project require multiple vendors to produce the finished piece.

When she isn't working, she and her husband are busy raising their two young children and playing soccer with their dog.

Our Founder

RJCO Founder Richard Jacobs

After 8 years owning a commercial heatset plant in Indianapolis, Richard moved into the distributor role and established Richard Jacobs and Company. With a deep understanding of the printing process and a love of conversation he built a loyal customer base and established lasting relationships with high quality commercial printers.

Richard was a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and received an MBA from the University of Michigan.
